This Warehouse Just Sold For $2.3 Million

September 12th, 2018

People just keep getting more creative with their home designs. Tiny houses are becoming popular, people are turning barns into homes, and they are even using shipping containers as apartments. It’s hard to get a loan on a home and it’s a little easier to just make one yourself out of whatever you can. The thing is, these homes are anything but shacks thrown together with what’s on hand. Many of them are beautiful and luxurious inside.

A 1950s warehouse recently sold for over a million dollars.

That’s a pretty hefty price for a warehouse. While it might look like a warehouse on the outside, it is beautiful on the inside. In fact, you wouldn’t believe your eyes if you saw it. Here are some photos to show just how amazing this warehouse home really is.

The home is huge. It has a large open living room that can easily hold more than enough seating for the family. It’s also the perfect place to entertain guests during a game or host holidays and family parties. It’s rustic but full of greenery, so it feels very natural and modern.

The first bedroom keeps the worn, industrial look, but it also very spacious.

The white paint helps open it up, and there is even an old safe in the room that is used as a dresser. Plenty of lighting makes it fresh and fun.

The second bedroom features a bed behind sliding doors. It also has an attached office to add more space. Chandeliers and large mirrors hanging in the room give it a nice modern touch. It looks like the kind of place you would want to sleep for days.

There are also little, hidden treasures in every corner.

Extra seating, iron stairway rails, and planters are all over the home. It’s all these small touches that help make it feel like a home and not just a big empty building.

One of the best things about the warehouse home is that the back was turned into a beautiful courtyard. There is plenty of room, and it features a beautiful garden and seating area. It’s the perfect place to enjoy dinner, coffee or just the night sky.

The bathroom is a refreshing surprise. It features bright red tile from the floor to the ceiling.

A large shower, antique mirror, and woodgrain sink give it an interesting style. It’s not the kind of bathroom you would expect to see in a warehouse.

The kitchen is also very open.

There is a large cooking area, a large dining room table, and even a breakfast bar. Even with all these things, there is plenty of space to move around. Again, this makes it ideal for birthday parties, family get-togethers and more.

If you aren’t completely impressed by the interior, the location may be a selling point, too.

It’s located in a great neighborhood with double street access. It’s also called the coolest home in Brisbane. Of course, it’s not easy turning a warehouse into a home, and it took a lot of time and money.

This isn’t a home for everyone. The price alone might scare buyers away and the fact that it’s a warehouse doesn’t help. Still, someone obviously wanted it because it sold for a pretty penny. Who wouldn’t want to look at their warehouse form the outside and know that it’s a luxurious home on the inside?

There’s plenty of room for families, and it can always be redecorated as desired.

This is just one of the amazing homes that have been made from something else. If someone can make a warehouse look this nice, what’s next? In the world of tiny houses and home makeovers, there are no limits. Whatever you dream up, can become a beautiful house. You can also bet that someone somewhere will be more than excited to buy it, no matter how odd it might seem on the outside.
