When House-Box hand-crafted home building company found “Helga” she was a horse-box before she was a home.

A horse-box filled with hay and horse poop.

It took a lot of work to convert the horse truck into a home but the results are an incredibly magical house they call “Helga.”

First, they had to strip the box, blast and repaint the frame.

There was a ton of custom engineered pieces that went into this project.

And it shows in this enchanted gypsy wagon with its green trim and purple accents.

Everything in this home is covered in natural-looking hardwood from the floor to the ceilings, and walls.

Their cabinetry is custom-made in the same material but painted blue.

A small wood stove is used to heat the house.

The blue and wood features are continued in the bathroom which just feels really special. It looks as if fairies live in this house. Or some other mythical creatures.

Even the toilet looks magical! The bathroom also has a shower that is surrounded by galvanized metal which won’t rust.

The kitchen features lots of cabinet space.

It also has a good sized stove, oven, and sink. So it’s a pretty functional kitchen.

The kitchen opens out into the living room.

The living room features bench sitting space with cozy pillows.

Under those benches is extra storage space.

It also contains steps that also include storage space. Those steps lead up into a loft space. That loft space is framed with giant tree branches for a rustic look. The entire home kind of looks like a living forest.

The loft is where the sleeping space is. It provides a cozy little space where one can get a beautiful slumber.

Skylights were installed above the bed so natural light can pour into the home.

There are also lots of little windows throughout the home that bring more light into the home.

There is an extension on the back of the porch.

This provides some outdoor living space.

There’s a rustic looking stick outside that holds up an awning that gives the outdoor space some shade.

It also frames the door really nicely. The craftsmanship that went into this home is just incredibly stunning. It is also solar powered.
