How To Use Razor And Shaving Cream On Paint Stains

Painting is a great way to relax after a long day, and it’s also a good way to let your creativity out. But while painting is always fun, it can also get quickly get messy. Depending on the type of paint you’re using, it can be very difficult to get paint stains out of your clothes or a rug. Even if you wash your clothes a few times, the stain might still be there.

If you’re looking for a great way to get paint stains out of your clothes and once for all, try using a razor and shaving cream!

To start, you’ll need to gather a few materials you probably already have around the house. You’ll need:

  • One dish sponge
  • A razor
  • A can of shaving cream

To start, lay out the piece of clothing on a table and find the glob of paint.

Once you’ve located the paint, spread out the paint with your razor. This will make it easier for you to get out the stain without rubbing the paint too deeply into your piece of clothing.

Once the paint is thinned out, grab your sponge.

Dampen the sponge with cold water, and then squeeze some shaving cream onto it. If you don’t have shaving cream, you can also use dishwasher detergent.

Next, start scrubbing at the paint stain on your clothing. Make sure to squeeze the paint out of the sponge while you’re working.

Continue scrubbing until the stain is completely gone, and then let your clothing dry. When it dries, it should be paint free!

This razor and shaving cream trick works best with paint that’s still wet. If your paint has dried, there are a few other tricks you can try to get the stain out. You can try using rubbing alcohol or an alcohol-based cleaner, including nail-varnish remover.

You can also use an aerosol hairspray to remove dried paint.

Spray the hairspray on the stain, and then rub the fabric to loosen the stain. If the paint is really caked on, you can also try using a butter knife to scrape it off. Or, if the fabric is delicate, you can use a toothbrush.

Keep scrubbing at the shirt until you see the paint stain coming off. Then, run the shirt under hot water. If you still see the paint stain after this, spray some more hairspray on it. Continue spraying until the stain has disappeared.
