The stunning 8,881-square-foot home sits on 706 acres in the breathtaking foothills of Ashland, Oregon. It was built in 2015 by artist and home developer Ed Bemis, along with local artists. While the home is an amazing fantasy wonderland, it’s also eco-friendly, including geothermal energy heating and cooling the home, as well as a solar-heated indoor pool.

The intricate front door took one-and-a-half years to carve. Holding true to a traditional Native American theme, all of the home’s doors depict local animals, including eagles, salmon, and coyotes.

Upon entering the home, you are greeted by two copper tree sculptures that create a framed Brazilian mahogany, arched doorway. Walk through the doorway and you’ll be awed by the amazing home décor within.

After proceeding through the double doors into this fantasy paradise, you’ll see unique maple and cherry flooring that resembles a flowing stream. This “relaxing” design element is a beauty to behold.

The intricate staircases in the home were carved from an indigenous tree in the area, called manzanita. Plus, the ceilings throughout the house were created with tapered tongue and groove planks and cedar beams.
