Welcome to the Hillbilly Kitchen.

This isn’t Gordon Ramsay’s kitchen. No, this is completely different.

But it’s every bit as ridiculous. Time to make some fudge!

Here’s what you’ll need:

  1. A can of condensed milk
  2. Chocolate chips

Yep, that’s it.

Hillbilly Kitchen uses a 14-ounce can of sweetened condensed milk, specifically.

Instead of milk chocolate chips, she goes with 12 ounces of “semi-sweet” Nestle Toll House chocolate chips. Milk chocolate may yield too soft a consistency.

Go with just milk and sugar – any brand will work.

Then, put your mixture into the nearest oven.

Now, it’s time for the condensed milk.

Pour the entire can into a large bowl.

Congratulations, you’ve already utilized half of the necessary ingredients.

Then, empty the bag of chocolate chips into the bowl as well.

Vanilla is another ingredient option depending on what your palette wants!

Now, it’s time to stir.

Mix your ingredients for a few moments.

Next, stick your mixture into the microwave for thirty seconds at a time.

But no more than thirty seconds!

Take the bowl and mix the ingredients yet again.

The solution should be warm and almost melted. Throw it back in the microwave for another 30 seconds.

After, if the mixture’s still not melted enough, throw it in the microwave for 15-second increments.

You can even put bits of fruit in the fudge!

Next, line a pan with some parchment paper.

We’re well on our way to some amazing, no-hassle fudge!

Hillbilly Kitchen breaks it down for us:

“This fudge is incredibly easy to make and has a rich creamy indulgent flavor. It is exactly like gift shop fudge which sells for $10 to $20 per pound depending on where you are shopping.”

This one’s a no-brainer.

This is a kid-friendly recipe. There is nothing hot enough to cause a burn and it doesn’t require a long attention span.

Mix your ingredients until you’re left with uniform consistency. Then, into the pan!

Our Hillbilly Kitchen helper continues, sticking the pan into the fridge for an hour.

It’s all about the consistency.

Fudge is a great holiday gift too

“It is perfect for gift giving, something quick to take to an office party, holiday get together, potluck or hostess gift. No one will have any idea it was so easy to make.”

We’re on the path to some tasty treats!

Then comes the final unveiling…

Shoutout to that adorable Christmas plate.
