Ella Jenkins is a musician with a keen eye for creativity and design. Given her free spirit, she wanted a home that she could move from place to place with a pickup truck. So, she designed a super adorable 130-square-foot home on wheels of her dreams.

Ella bought a home from Tumbleweed Tiny House Company and transformed it into her very own sanctuary.

Ella decided to make the change to tiny living after working an unfulfilling nine-to-five job, paying way too much rent, and struggling to pay bills every week. So, she decided to downsize.

The exterior of the home is a beautiful wood with a branch as the corner post. Of course, the bright yellow door makes the home pop.

The home is 13’2″ and is electrically wired like a traditional home. There are also standard hookups for water and electricity, although, Ella hopes to convert to solar power in the future.

Inside, the main living space is small but has all the room Ella needs.

The main living space of the adorable tiny home consists of the seating area with small table/desk that flows into the kitchen. Notice that small storage area up above where Ella can store her clothing and other belongings. Ella says that this built-in sofa is her favorite place to be.

Looking the opposite direction you can see the kitchen, hallway that leads to the bathroom, as well as the upstairs sleeping loft.

The tall vaulted ceilings make the small space feel much larger than it really is – vertical space is crucial in tiny homes. Wood flows throughout the entire home, including the floors, cabinetry, and ceilings. There are also built-in shelves for extra storage.

The little kitchen provides Ella with all the amenities to cook a nice meal.

Her small kitchen consists of a sink with brass hardware, a two-burner stove, and lots of counter space for food preparation. There is a small window above the sink so she can gaze out around her surroundings – wherever she may be.

The eclectic bathroom is full of fun details and decor.

Her bathroom consists of a bucket and sawdust composting toilet, a fun nautical window mirror, and a horse trough for the tub and shower. Ella has hung a branch on the wall to serve as her jewelry tree.

Despite its white and wood colors, this is room has been named ‘The Pink Room.’

Located next to the bathroom and in the rear of the tiny home is The Pink Room that Ella uses as a changing room and transitional space. There are lots of shelves for storage and plenty of space to change into your PJs after a fun day of exploring your whereabouts.

If you were seated on the window bench, you’d have a perfect view of the sleeping loft.

The ladder can be moved from the place it’s in here, over to the other loft when needed. The sleeping loft has enough space for Ella’s full-size bed and a bit of space on the side. The vaulted ceilings allow her to sit upright and crawl into bed with ease.

And as for the wood post? She says it doesn’t hold any weight – she just thinks it’s pretty. We’d have to agree.
