Then, the can of cream of chicken soup.

Pour the chicken soup all over the pork chops. Use the same can to measure water, and pour that in as well.

Cindy also added a bit of garlic powder, salt, and pepper. You can do the same or opt to stick with just the ranch dressing.

Once all the ingredients are in the slow cooker, mix it all together.

After combining all the ingredients together, Cindy covered the slow cooker and set it to low, planning to cook it for six hours.

If you don’t have as much time to spare, you can choose a faster cooking time by adjusting the setting to high and letting the pork chops cook for four hours.

Mastering this dish is easy. If you’re looking to experiment with more pork recipes, here are a few helpful tips you’ll want to take note of:

  • Prick the meat to check for doneness. The juice should run clear or have a faint pink tint. To ensure doneness, check with a meat thermometer.
  • Insert the thermometer into the thickest part of the cut. The temperature for medium doneness is at 145°F, while well done pork is at 160°F to 165°F.
  • Pan-fried pork recipes are great, too. The best cut for these are boneless.
  • If you’re experimenting with roast pork recipes, rub the surface of the meat with your favorite seasonings for added flavor.
