Kanga Room Systems creates kits for people to build outdoor sheds or offices, homes, businesses, and even ranches and businesses. The Kanga Cottage Cabin, however, is by far one of their most impressive projects.

The brightly painted home features a welcoming front porch with Adirondack chairs.

Imagine sipping on your morning coffee or a glass of sweet tea on the afternoon while gazing out around the surrounding countryside. This particular home is situated right in the heart of nature, away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Walk through the red French doors to enter the cottage’s open floor plan and common room.

The ‘great room’ of the 16×26 home consists of the living room, kitchen, and dining area. Just off the kitchen is the bathroom, and a master bedroom sits underneath the sleeping loft that is accessed via a wooden ladder.

A comfy wrap-around leather sofa sits in the corner, providing lots of seating space for guests.

The tall vaulted ceilings make the tiny farmhouse feel so much larger than it really is. A small bookshelf sits near the sofa, along with another simple side table. The dining table sits between the loft ladder and the cottage’s fully-functional kitchen.

The kitchen has every amenity you could possibly ever need.

The kitchen boasts a full-size refrigerator, two-range burner, microwave, and large double-basin sink. The abundant cabinets and walls are painted a beautiful light yellow, which looks lovely against the wood grain in the flooring. Behind that door? Is a stacked washer and dryer.

The master bedroom is 10-by-11-feet and also has a door that accesses the bathroom.

Late night bathroom visits aren’t an issue in this home’s cleverly designed master bedroom. The room is large enough for a queen-size bed and a few pieces of accent furniture. There is also a closet for storage.

The bathroom is modest but beautiful.

The wood flooring continues into the bathroom with a couple of neutral-colored accent rugs. There is a shower and tub with glass tub, toilet, and absolutely beautiful wood sink and vanity. A medicine cabinet was installed for additional storage for toiletries.

The vaulted ceiling provides plenty of room for head clearance and the two twin beds are perfect for a small family with kids. No decor was needed as the gorgeous wood speaks for itself, but notice the shelf built-in near the floor to the left.

Another bright ride side door leads out to the attached garage and workspace.

The covered garage provides the homeowners with a place to, not only keep their car protected from the elements, but a place to work on home projects or hobbies.
