The best part, you can do these with household items that most people have laying around.

1) Milk hack

You only need two ingredients for this awesome plant hack, and they’re both ingredients that you most likely already have at home. Here’s what you need:

  • Water

All you have to do is mix milk and water at a 50-50 ratio, put it into a spray bottle or any other type of container, and water your plants with the mixture.

According to The Spruce, this can help your plants grow, prevent end rot, and can even act as a partial pesticide.

Just be careful not to overdo it, using this too much or with the wrong water-milk ratio could potentially destroy your plants.

2) Baking soda

We all knew baking soda was good for a whole plethora of different things, but could it potentially be used to bring your withering plants back to life?

The answer is yes, and we’re going to tell you exactly how it’s done.

First things first, get your sodium bicarbonate(baking soda) handy.

Once you’ve got that it’s simple, you just have to sprinkle a tablespoon of baking soda into the fertilizer and watch your plant improve!

Yeast has many different benefits for both indoor and outdoor plants, you just have to know how to use it.

It’s very simple.

If you’re just looking to keep an indoor plant healthy, all you have to do is mix a good chunk of yeast in a large pitcher of water and use it to water your plant.

You can also use yeast as earth-friendly pest control for those slimy slugs that love destroying gardens.

According to Hunker.com, you just have to place mason jars filled with dried yeast, salt, sugar, and warm water around your garden.

The slugs are attracted to the yeast, enabling you to safely remove them from your garden once they’re stuck in the mixture.

When I saw this in the video below I was amazed. Apparently, you can grow three roses out of a rose stem using just a potato, and some honey.

You just have to dip the bottom end of the rose into a jar of honey, stick the dipped end into a potato, and plant it.

Then clip all the leaves and cut off the rose bloom, leaving just the stem. Be sure to water, and you should have three roses in 2-3 months!
